According to the definition given by UNESCO, migration is movement of people from one place to another temporarily or permanently for a host of voluntary and/or in voluntary reasons. It is the crossing of the boundary of a political or administrative unit for a certain minimum period of time.It includes the movement of refugees, displaced persons, uprooted as well as economic migrants. Internal migrants refers to a move from one area to another within one country. International migration is a territorial relocation of people between nation - states (UNESCO).
